Clod is a supporting character in the 2023 Disney/Pixar animated feature film Elemental. He is best described as a street-smart earth kid.

Personality[]
Throughout the movie, Clod seemed to be very lovesick regarding Ember as he would often flirt with her and attempt to give her a flower he grew from his armpits. At the end, when Ember began dating Wade Ripple, Clod seemed to have let his crush go as he now gains a crush on a fire girl that is his age.
Physical appearance[]
Clod is young, short-looking boy. Being an earth element, his entire body is made out of dirt, with his head vaguely resembling a heart and a large stone as his nose, complete with dark brown eyes and grass on top of his head, resembling hair. For attire, Clod wore a camo hoodie vest with brown beads hanging from the white drawstrings, black socks, and a pair of dark greenish-brown high-top sneakers, featuring tan rope acting as shoelaces, as well as brown soles.
Trivia[]
- So far, Clod is the only Earth element, let alone the only resident of Element City, who wears some sort of footwear.
- He is also the only known non-fire element to live in Fire Town.
- According to Anna Scott, a character designer for Elemental, Clod's head and nose are shaped like hearts in order to reflect his identity of having a crush on Ember.[1]
- Clod's name comes from the word "clod", a term that refers to a lump of earth or clay. "Clod" is also derived from the Gaelic name "Leod".
- In the Latin Spanish version, his name is "Loduardo".
